Distinguished Journalist in Residence
Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute
Faculty of Arts and Science
The Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University is seeking an exceptional journalist to serve as a Distinguished Journalist in Residence.
This term-limited visiting faculty appointment will be filled by an esteemed journalist who is also devoted to training the next generation of journalists for up to three years, with a renewal possible pending budgetary and administrative approval. The successful candidate will teach two courses each academic year to master's and/or undergraduate journalism students. An office and a compensation package with faculty benefits are included.
The position start date is September 1, 2023 (pending administrative and budgetary approval). Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. For best consideration, materials should be submitted by no later than February 15, 2023.
