Assistant Professor of the Practice in Communications - Digital Journalism
The College of Arts and Sciences at Fairfield University invites applications for a position of an Assistant Professor of the Practice in Digital Journalism in the Communication Department, beginning fall, 2024. We welcome highly qualified candidates prepared to contribute to a cross-disciplinary major/minor in the Digital Journalism Program. The interdisciplinary Journalism curriculum incorporates a wide array of courses in Journalism, Communication, Film/TV, and English. Candidates must have a terminal degree in Journalism, Communication, or related areas. This is a non-tenure track fixed term renewable position with a teaching load of four courses each semester at various levels such as Introductory News Writing, Intermediate News Writing, Sports Writing, and Feature Wr
